TerraList is an online listing and discovery platform for Canadian small businesses for sale. TerraList is operated by a Canadian technology company, not a licensed brokerage or financial institution.

TerraList is NOT

• a registered real estate or business brokerage in any province (we do not negotiate transactions on behalf of any party);
• a Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) or accredited valuation firm — values, multiples, and SDE figures shown on listings are seller- or broker-supplied and may not reflect fair market value;
• a registered investment dealer, exempt market dealer, or member of CIRO; we do not facilitate the offer or sale of securities;
• a law firm, accounting firm, or tax advisor;
• a lender — financing scenarios shown on the platform (including BDC payment estimates) are illustrative and not commitments to lend.

Buyer due diligence

Buyers are responsible for conducting their own independent due diligence (legal, financial, tax, environmental, regulatory) before signing any letter of intent or purchase agreement. We strongly recommend retaining a qualified business lawyer, CPA, and where appropriate, a CBV and a licensed M&A advisor or business broker.
